To mark the 50th anniversary of James Bond, Activision teamed up with developers Eurocom to create 007 Legends - a celebration/re-creation of the best Bond films (O.H.M.S, Moon-Raker, Goldfinger, License To Kill, Die Another Day & Skyfall)  in which the player re-inacts them with the modern day Bond - Daniel Craig. Although this idea was innovative, the game didn't receive positive from the critics.

As Blu-Ray has become a big deal nowadays, MGM has re-mastered every single 007 film made for newer technology.
Sky Movies created a channel for a month - Sky Movies 007, showing every single film to Quantum of Solace in HD.

XL Records teamed up with MGM and Columbia Pictures to created the official song - Skyfall which is performed by Adele in the opening introduction of the film.

Nuts magazine was just one of many to show off their knowledge of Skyfall and to feature a '10-page special' which contained an interview with Daniel Craig & Bérénice Lim Marlore, review as well as a look into stunts and so.

Various techniques of advertisements were used such as billboards (as seen here), electronic signs, bus banners, underground posters, television adverts and trailers.
